Škocjan Caves Park, UNESCO world heritage
The Škocjan Caves are entered on UNESCO’s list of world heritage sites. The area is famous for its exceptional archaeological finds, frontier research karst underground and the rich natural and cultural heritage.
The Škocjan Caves are, above all, a natural phenomenon of global significance, ranking side by side with the Grand Canyon, the Great Barrier Reef, the Galapagos Islands, Mount Everest and others.

Arboretum Volčji potok
Volčji Potok Arboretum is the most visited horticultural facility in Slovenia. In Arboretum, 80 hectare of ecologically very diversified grounds are occupied by about 2.500 taxa of trees and shrubs. In peaceful and aesthetic scenery visitors are given an opportunity to experience beauty and uniqueness of man modified environment. Park is suitable for all generations since it has many attractions also for children.

Zelenci
It is the source of the River Sava Dolinka and lies in the gable of the valley a little further from Kranjska Gora. There are many opportunities for biking and strolling around.

Velika planina
Velika planina is the largest pasture of the mountain plateau in Slovenia. The cable car takes us to 1550 meters high. There is the herdsmen’s settlement, with over a hundred herdsmen huts, which is known as one of few the settlements of such size in Europe. It is distinct by its unique architecture which defines Velika planina. The mountain offers numerous possibilities for walks and hiking, which can be combined with the visits of the natural and ethnological sites of interest. The mountain is also a starting point for the hikes onto the higher summits in the Kamnik Alps.
